Delete your TuneLingo account

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This page applies to TuneLingo, the language-learning app that generates personalized AI songs, published on Google Play and the App Store by Dombyte Studio. It explains how to delete your TuneLingo account and the data linked to it — either in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open TuneLingo and go to Settings → Delete account.
  2. When you submit the request, you are signed out of your account.
  3. A 14-day recovery window follows. If you sign back in during this window, your account and all your data are fully restored and the deletion is cancelled.
  4. After 14 days, the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

You do not need the app installed to delete your account.

Email legal@tunelingo.app from the email address linked to your TuneLingo account and ask for your account to be deleted. Clicking the link fills in the subject line ("Account deletion request") automatically.

  • We verify your identity by your control of that email address; we cannot act on requests sent from a different address.
  • Requests are handled within one month.
  • The same 14-day recovery window applies from the moment your request is registered: signing back in during that window restores your account and cancels the deletion. After 14 days, the deletion is permanent.

What is permanently deleted

After the 14-day recovery window, the following data linked to your account is permanently deleted:

  • Your profile (email address, display name, languages, and level)
  • Your song library links
  • Your favorites
  • Your saved vocabulary
  • Your study history
  • Your activity data (listening time, streaks, daily activity)
  • Your settings and preferences
  • Your credit ledger
  • Your push notification tokens

What is retained after deletion

Some data is kept after your account is deleted, for the following reasons:

  • Transaction and purchase records — retained where legally required (tax and bookkeeping law).
  • Anonymized technical logs and an anonymized deletion-statistics snapshot — kept without any link to your identity.
  • Shared song content (audio, lyrics, cover art) — songs are deduplicated, shared content that is not owned by any single account, so they may remain in the catalog. Your personal link to them (library entry, favorites, vocabulary) is deleted.
  • Purchase data held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — governed by their own privacy policies. You can request deletion from them directly.

Privacy policy

For full details, see the TuneLingo Privacy Policy. Its "Deleting your account" section is the authoritative description of the deletion process; in case of any difference, the privacy policy prevails.
